Health Care Services Division
Louisiana State University operates eleven hospitals, nine of
which are managed by the Health Care Services Division. Combined,
the LSU facilities admit 81,000 patients annually, and they
provide nearly 2 million outpatient visits, around 70 percent of
which are clinic visits. |

LSU at Alexandria provides quality educational offerings and
programs at a reasonable cost to the residents of Central
Louisiana. LSUA provides educational and cultural leadership,
educational excellence, and the resources necessary to help the
community both in meeting its cultural and recreational needs and

LSU at Eunice
LSU at Eunice first opened its doors in 1967. Since then, some
25,000 students have enrolled. During their time at LSUE, they
gained new knowledge and skills that they have been able to share
as productive citizens of Southwest Louisiana. They have used the
educational opportunities available at LSUE to enrich the lives of
everyone in Louisiana. |

LSU Health Sciences Center -
Shreveport facilities include a Comprehensive Care teaching
facility, designed to provide an environment where students may
learn by active participation in the care of ambulatory patients
and basic and clinical science buildings, which also house the
Library. |

Hebert Law Center is dedicated to the advancement and welfare of
the state of Louisiana through professional formation of its
students, curatorship of the state's Civil Law system, exemplary
scholarship, and public service. |

smaller town. As the only public four-year university in the local

Pennington Biomedical Research Center promotes healthier lives
through research and education in nutrition and preventive
medicine. This complex is the catalyst for a team of scientists

University of New Orleans
University of New Orleans (UNO) was established by the Louisiana
Legislature on June 26, 1956. Its purpose is to bring
public-supported higher education to the state's largest urban
complex. The University of New Orleans main campus is located in
an area of New Orleans known as the Lakefront. |
