The LSUHSC New Orleans Libraries Delicious Account (a social bookmarking website) is maintained as a service to LSUHSC patrons. The tagged links are a selected list of authoritative sources available on the World Wide Web. It is not intended as a comprehensive list, but as a starting point for our patrons. The following is a list of criteria used when selecting websites for inclusion.

1. Source (author/owner) is authoritative, accurate and clearly indicated.
2. Information is current with update dates clearly indicated.
3. Site provides quality, reliable, objective information.
4. Site should be user friendly, easily navigated with an intuitive design.
5. Site should be consistently available.
6. The content of the site should not be overwhelmingly commercial.
7. Content should be appropriate to the LSUHSC Library patron.
8. Content is freely available and does not require user to supply personal data.
9. Content should offer unique information or perspective.
10. Browser requirements, along with necessary plug-ins, should be listed on the main page.
