- The bid specifications for the environmental remediation of the Resource Center, Nursing/Allied Health Building, Stanislaus Hall and the Residence Hall have been completed. The Office of Facility Planning & Control, the Office of Risk Management, and FEMA are reviewing at this time. The Office of Facility Planning & Control has authorized the architect to utilize an expedited procurement process to secure a contractor for this work.
- The State Fire Marshal has inspected the repairs to the CSRB fire pump and fire alarm system. This successful inspection allows us to suspend the manned fire watch on the upper floors of the CSRB.
- Temporary, battery powered emergency lighting has been installed in the stairs and hallways of the Residence Hall. The installation of similar lighting will begin at the MEB tomorrow.
- The final punch lists have been sent to the contractor responsible for the cleaning of the upper floors of the Dental School Clinic and Administration buildings, and to the contractor responsible for the removal of flood damaged carpet and building materials.
