Wednesday, July 12, 2006 - The temporary chillers for the Dental School Clinic and Administration Buildings arrived today and the installation has begun.
- The installation of new carpet in the 1st of the two large Lecture Halls in the MEB is progressing well. Approximately 75% of the carpet has been installed.
- The initial delivery of parts for the replacement seating in the large MEB Lecture Halls arrived today. Additional parts are needed before the installation can begin.
- The mounting brackets for the new projector screens in the Lecture Halls have been installed.
- The contactor continues to make progress in completing the new electrical wiring in the Lecture Halls.
- The installation of new ceiling tile in the MDLs was completed today.
- The primer and base coat related to the epoxy floor system has been applied to the floors in the Morgue and Gross Anatomy Lab in the MEB.
- The environmental remediation contractor continued their cleaning of the 1st and 2nd floors at 1542 Tulane Ave. Access to the building remains restricted at this time.
