NOTICE:  The equipment that allows the MEB elevators to operate under emergency power conditions requires repair and testing.  This will be conducted on Saturday, April 21st from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.  During this time, there will be no elevator service in the MEB.  The elevator testing will capture the elevators, in sequence, and bring them to the first floor.  Since there are repairs that are required, this test could be performed many times during the course of this outage.  Please refrain from attempting to use the elevators during this time period.

When the testing is complete and the elevator service is restored, an audible message will be broadcast to notify building occupants that the elevators can be used.  Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Dental School : 

• Landis and their sub-contractor were on site to measure the exterior doors and store fronts on the first floor of the Clinic and Administration Buildings. 
• AT&T started running the new fiber optic cable in the basement and working up the building to the 5th floor.  They are scheduled to work Saturday for 10 hours.  They estimate that the project should take 4 days. 

1542 Tulane Ave.:   

• Ordes Electrical worked on connecting power to the A/C units from the control panel in the basement.

Irrigation Project:

• Additional sprinkler pipe was installed and buried today.
