NOTICE:
There is a planned power outage at the Lions/LSU Clinic Building on Saturday,
July 19 from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM to enable a contractor to make electrical
connections to new service for the building. This outage will affect the entire building.During the outage there will be emergency
power to maintain emergency lights and service to some specific equipment in
the building (items that are plugged into red receptacles). The regular receptacles and lights along with
all air conditioning and pumps will be off throughout the building as the
electrical distribution system is shut down for this work.
Please note that only the equipment already plugged into the red receptacles should be plugged into those outlets.Plugging in additional pieces of equipment may cause all equipment to fail if circuits are overloaded.
Please note that the Lions Eye Center network will be shut down at approximately 6:00 pm Friday July 18 and will be restored at approximately 6:00 pm Saturday July 19.
Please leave the doors open to all rooms with equipment operating on emergency power for greater air flow to allow the heat to be distributed throughout the building and prevent heat build-up.
Please
contact Pam Cain at 234-2713 if you have any questions during this electrical
shutdown.
