NOTICE:From 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 2nd, there will be a
partial chilled water outage at the Medical Education Building
which will affect only the B Quadrant as defined by the S. Roman Street/Perdido
Street Corner.This is expected to be
the last chilled water outage of this magnitude for this project.During the outage, there will be no air
conditioning in the B quadrant of the Medical Education Building . This outage is
needed to put in isolation valves at each air handling unit that will be
replaced in the B riser.

There will be a shutdown of the de-ionized water system from 6:00 AM to noon.During this period of time there will be no DI water available at any valve.Please make sure that all DI water valves remain shut during the outage to avoid problems when the service returns.
The 4th floor and 7th floor will experience a domestic hot and cold water shutdown from 6:00 AM to noon.Please do not attempt to flush any toilet or urinal or use any faucet on either the 4th floor or 7th floor during the shutdown.
There will be a high pressure medical air outage.This service feeds equipment in Rooms 7105 and 7154 only.All other medical air service will be available.The high pressure medical air line needs to be re-routed.
The cold room, 6139, will be shut down from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM in order to re-route cooling lines.
1542 TULANE AVE. :
Carpeting was installed in Rooms 341, 342 and 343.
Crews continued finishing the drywall in the 1st Floor lounge.
Facility Services continued making electrical repairs, door repairs and painting on the 3rd Floor.
LIONS/LSU CLINIC BUILDING PERMANENT
REPAIRS AND MITIGATION:
The contractor continued installing window trim for the stairwell on the 6th level.
Crews applied a second coat of sheetrock patch on the 1st and 2nd levels.
They patched the floor on the 1st Floor, CSRB/S. Prieur Street side.
The electrical contractor installed additional light fixtures on the Bolivar St. side of the 1st Floor.
They secured the fire pump controller to the wall and wired flow switches and valves in the fire pump room on the 2nd Floor.
The contractor installed an access panel in the elevator lobby and installed a temporary panic bar at the fire door.
RESIDENCE HALL LOBBY EXPANSION:
The interior contractor patched the wall where the fire alarm devices were installed in the lobby.
The interior contractor installed sprinkler heads beneath the mezzanine level between the A & B lobbies.
The mechanical contractor continued running wires for pull stations and fire alarm devices in the extended lobby area and on the walkway.
MEB MDL 3 RENOVATIONS:
The contractor raised the support beam for the partition.
The electrical contractor installed MC whips for light fixtures.
MEB 2nd FLOOR LOBBY RENOVATIONS:
The contractor finished installing the remaining surface mount lights.
The wall panel contractor continued installing wall panels on the Campus Office Stores side.
MEB PHARMACOLOGY LAB RENOVATIONS:
The contractor continued installing receptacle raceways in the laboratory area.
They installed sheet vinyl flooring in the animal care room.
ALLIED HEALTH/NURSING RE-ROOFING PROJECT:
The contractor tarred around the edge of the walkway between the MEB and the Allied Health/Nursing Building.
DENTAL SCHOOL AUDITORIUMS A
& B RENOVATIONS:
The contractor taped and floated additional sheetrock in Room 4202B.
The electrical contractor installed the transformers and sub-panels for the electrical services in the auditoriums.
