NOTICE:
The contractor installing new air handling units in the Medical Education
Building needs to relocate electrical conduits in the A quadrant (South Roman
Street/MEB Loading Dock corner) of the 6th floor to make room for new duct
work.Consequently, there will be an
electrical outage on Monday, July 20th, from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM to relocate the
conduits.During this outage there will
be no power to equipment plugged into receptacles in labs and offices that are
served by circuits 28, 30, 31, 33, 35, 40 and 42 from the main panel LA6A.Receptacles are labeled in the labs,
identifying the panel that supplies the power to the receptacle.

Facility Services continued painting in the 2nd Floor corridor along Tulane Avenue .
Facility Services adjusted locks and closers for the offices on the 2nd Floor.
The flooring contractor installed cove base in the stairwells and replaced stained carpet tiles on the 1st and 2nd Floors.
LIONS/LSU CLINIC PERMANENT REPAIRS AND MITIGATION:
The contractor pulled data wire for the classrooms on the S. Prieur St. side of the 6th Floor.
RESIDENCE HALL 2nd FLOOR LOBBY RENOVATIONS:
The millwork contractor completed installation of the wood cladding around the mailboxes.
The interior contractor continued patching walls throughout the lobby.
MEB AIR HANDLING UNIT REPLACEMENT:
Facility Services continued monitoring and adjusting temporary AC units for the B Quadrant.
The contractor continued installing new ductwork and piping for air handling unit 6-B and 7-B.
MEB 7th FLOOR PHYSIOLOGY LAB RENOVATIONS:
The contractor continued removing existing casework, plumbing, and electrical.
MEB 2ND FLOOR LOBBY RENOVATIONS:
The AV Contractor began installing the meeting minder.
IT made the final connections for the digital signage.
DENTAL SCHOOL AUDITORIUMS A
& B RENOVATIONS:
The contractor continued installing additional power for the projectors and completed the network terminations in both auditoriums.
The A/V contractor installed the document camera inside the podium of Auditoriums A and B.
The contractor installed the painted return-air grilles above the mechanical and electrical rooms.
