Overall Conference Goals
  • Communicate concepts and examples of health care effectiveness; demonstrating improved patient care and improved access to the public system of care.
  • Enhance innovation and creative skills and insights as well as organizational learning tools appropriate for of public hospitals and clinics, as well as their partners and constituencies.
  • Provide a structured environment to explore, network, and share current opportunities to improve patient health and access to care.

Overall Learning Objectives

.......... At the end of this forum participants will be able to:

  • Explain clinical improvements achieved through clinical redesign and improvement, as well as increased access to health care for Louisiana’s population at risk.
  • Identify the systemic nature of care processes, and the importance areas of collaboration for public hospitals and health systems.
  • Identify specific innovations and collaborations needed in the clinical redesign process.
  • Discuss the state-wide direction in developing and implementing strategic partnerships in patient care and access to services.
