Common error messages:
Cannot locate patron record: Either your record is no longer in the database; your record has expired; or you are not eligible for WAM access.
Hourglass image, but it never connects: System is busy; or your record may be blocked.
Invalid PIN: You mistyped or mis-remembered your PIN.
IP address error:
If the WAM screen is displayed while accessing resources on-campus, please check your IP address. IP addresses are formed by 4 sections, each section can be between 1 and 3 digits long; all LSUHSC addresses begin with the numbers 155.58. The next section identifies the subnet (usually a building or part of a building); for instance the Isché Library subnet is 128. Each subnet must be added to WAM for it to be recognized as part of LSUHSC. The last section identifies the individual computer. If your IP address complies with these rules and you're still getting the WAM screen on-campus, please contact the Information Technology Librarian for assistance. |
