Re: LSUHSC - New Orleans, Memorandum #47 Motor Vehicle Traffic Citations

In accordance with Act #645 enacted by the Legislature of the State of Louisiana during the 2001 Regular Session, it is affirmed that the Police Department of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) New Orleans Campus in concert with the overall mission of the LSUHSC respects the rights and dignity of all persons, personnel, faculty, staff, students, patients, and guests within and around the campus of the Health Sciences Center.

Further, while the University Police will continue to proactively patrol, investigate, respond, assist, and protect the citizens in its jurisdiction, the department does not and shall not encourage, condone, submit to, or allow racial profiling and/or any related nefarious activities by any of its personnel.
