Location
The Office of Computer Services' Computer Lab is located in room 405 of the
John P. Isché Library. The library is located in the Administration and Resource Building, 433 Bolivar Street,
New Orleans. Note: The John P. Isché Library can only be entered and exited via
the third floor.
About the Computer Lab
The LSUHSC New Orleans Computer Services Computer Lab is
open to all LSUHSC New Orleans Faculty and Staff members. It is reserved on a
"first come, first served" basis. Please note that the Computer lab is not
public access. The lab is not to be used for students to perform homework
assignments given during an ongoing class, unless the room is scheduled for
that purpose and a room monitor or instructor is present.
How to Schedule Lab Time

Contact the Office of Computer Services Business Coordinator, Tanya Howard via email at
thowar3@lsuhsc.edu. All
requests must be received by email.

Sign out a key from the Office of Computer Services
- the
Business Coordinator will work out these details with you. If you
have problems with obtaining the key after hours, you can call 568-HELP and
someone will be available to let you into the room.

If you would like to use it after
regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30
p.m.), please schedule the classroom at least 2 weeks in advance.

To report temperature problems in the lab, please call
(504) 568-7716 .

Please turn off all monitors when leaving

do I report computer hardware / equipment problems?
Answer: Please call the New Orleans Help
Desk at (504) 568-HELP for any equipment failures,
room access, or other failures while using the classroom.

computer hardware / equipment are located in the
computer lab?
Answer: Here is a list of the current hardware:

14 student workstations, 1 teaching workstation, 1 Server

Machine Specs: Pentium III, 1Ghz, 512 MB RAM, 20 GB hard
drive,
24X CDROM, Sound Card w/ internal speaker, 15" Flat Panel Monitor.

All machines are connected to the LSUHSC Network.
