Civil Service Positions

If you have not taken the State Civil Service Exam and the position requires that a test be taken, you can take the exam at the following location at the specified times:

The test is administered Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Typing exams are given on Fridays at 8:30 a.m.

If you have taken the exam and/or met the required qualifications, the following are steps in which you may apply.

Please complete a Pre-Employment Application Standard Form 10 (SF10), Civil Service Application for the State of Louisiana, and mail or submit it in person to the following address: LSUHSC - New Orleans Campus Human Resource Management, Room 626, 433 Bolivar Street , New Orleans, LA 70112.

Unclassified Positions

For all unclassified positions, please forward your curriculum vitaes and/or resumes to the person and location specified for the positions you are interested in.

Please be sure to include all titles and position numbers for the positions you are applying for.  For Civil Service positions, please submit a different application for each position.
