It contains programs that offer training and research funding for graduate and medical students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty. Special tools and resources allow customization of searches, provide updates on latest trends in research and education funding, and provide information on writing grant applications.

Illinois Research Information Service
- IRIS is a searchable database of science funding opportunities
offered by government agencies and private foundations. This service will
also, automatically provide by email the results of a daily, weekly or
monthly search of your selected key words against the IRIS database. This
subscription service is supported by the Chancellor’s Office and is free to
LSUHSC-NO users.

LaSmarts and Spin - LaSmarts provides daily
funding opportunity alerts by email based on your keyword selection. SPIN
allows searches of the InfoEd International database for science funding
opportunities. These services are provided free through support of the LA
Board of Regents.
