Electronic Access to Library Materials

As an ongoing project, the LSUHSC Library offers electronic access to more than 300 of the books and journals in our collection through links from the online catalog, INNOPAC. The list of titles is available via the Library's Homepage, under the Electronic Access link removed Link. However, while the Electronic Access page is updated on an as-needed basis, INNOPAC is considered the more authoritative source. Please remember that this is a dynamic environment and changes may occur on a daily basis.

Access to the titles vary in form and extent. Some titles are offered in full-text format, and others are table of contents only. Some items are offered through subscription databases accessible only from the library and some are offered, in addition to the print subscription, from the publishers website on the World Wide Web to any computer in the LSUHSC.EDU domain. Some items are available free over the Internet from the federal government. If you have a problem with a link, please let a member of the Library Staff know.

Most of the new items were added because two publishers expanded their online holdings, Elsevier and Academic Press. Academic Press has greatly increased their online presence by the creation of the IDEAL link removed Library which offers access to about 250 titles on a subscription or contract basis.
