Library to Go!
Remote Access to Databases

The Library now offers remote access to all sorts of Academic and Public Library resources. In order to gain access to academic databases such as
GaleNet,
Books in Print,
Cambridge Scientific Abstracts,
and many more, you will need your LSUHSC Library barcode. The barcode can be found on the back of your LSUHSC ID card. If you do not already have a barcode, just drop by the Library to get one.

To gain access to Public Library databases
Ancestry.com,
Facts.com,
Poem Finder,
ProQuest,
World Book Online,
and many, many more, you will need your Public Library barcode. If you do not already have one, simply go to your parish Library and apply for a card.
