In GIDEON, users have four modules to choose from:

  • Diagnosis - diagnosis or simulation of a clinical problem.
  • Epidemiology - how are diseases transmitted, diagnosed, treated; what is their status in any given country, or worldwide.
  • Therapy - how are drugs and vaccines used; what are their side effects, trade names, testing standards.
  • Microbiology - identify any bacterium or yeast; or contrast two or more species

    • To answer questions such as: Where does the disease Q-Fever occur?
    Click on the Epidemiology Module from the Main screen. In the Results section, scroll down to the disease in question. Then, click on the Distribution tab and the following screen will appear:

    High quality Images and Clinical background for most of the diseases are provided as well.
