Award Winning!

The LSUHSC Libraries have won 2 National awards in the last 6 months for creative library events.

An Honorable Mention from the Creative Promotions Award from the Medical Library Association was presented for last October's National Medical Librarians Month exhibit, "Don't Let Our Resources Scare You!"(link removed) Winners were announced in March 2007. Held on Halloween, this atrium exhibit featured a visit from Zombrarian(link removed), the zombie librarian.

The "Trawling for Information"(link removed) exhibit won an award in May for best one-time promotion at the Medical Library Association’s Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. This event was to commemorate Medical Information Day and was held in April 2007.

Watch out for events celebrating National Medical Librarians Month coming to the Library and the Atrium in October..
