New Copiers in the Isché Library
Five new Ikon copiers were installed in the Isché Library at the beginning of June. All of these digital copiers offer double-sided copying and two of them (on the 3rd and 4th floors) offer automatic document feeding. The new copiers accept cash, LSUHSC IDs that have been initialized for Pay Paw Services link removed and the new Pay Paw cards. The Pay Paw Services and the Pay Paw cards are part of Auxiliary Enterprises' link removed new financial transaction system that is being implemented for photocopying, for printing, in the bookstore, in the cafeteria, and at the vending machines.

Library Participates in the Gambit Weekly's Wellness Expo
On Saturday, June 12, 2004, the LSUHSC Libraries exhibited at Gambit Weekly's Wellness Expo in Lakeside Shopping Center. The exhibit highlighted the National Library of Medicine databases that are available to the general public. Four LSUHSC Librarians staffed the exhibit from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This exhibit is part of the Library's ongoing outreach efforts.
