Carolyn K. Bridgewater, MLIS, MSW, Reference Librarian at the John P. Isché Library, has been elected Secretary of the Cancer Librarians Section of the Medical Library Association (MLA).

Maureen Knapp, MA, Reference Librarian at the John P. Isché Library, published an article in the May 2004 issue of MLA News entitled "Standards and Guidelines for Clinical Research." She was also awarded a William D. Postell, Sr. Professional Development Award from the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association (SCC/MLA).
