Library Bulletin Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Library -- New Orleans

Digitizing History

As part of our collaboration with Louisiana Digital Libraries, the LSUHSC New Orleans Libraries are creating a digital archive of LSU Medical Center's history. Currently, we are scanning copies of LSU New Orleans Medical School Graduation Programs as the first step in this project. Access to this collection should be available by early July 2009. Unfortunately we are missing some programs. If you or someone you know has a copy of a graduation program from 1932-1941, 1946 or 1948-1966, please contact Jennifer Lloyd or Molly Knapp.

The Louisiana Digital Libraries is a consortia of 19 libraries, museums and archives all contributing to an online database of photographs, books, oral histories and other items that illustrate Louisiana's culture and history. And the best part is anyone with internet access is free to use it.

For assistance with any of the Libraries' resources, please contact a Reference Librarian at the Isché Library (504) 568-6102 / (504) 568-8339, or at the Dental Library (504) 941-8158.
