Background | |
| For many years, 1966 was the earliest year for which journal citations were available online. Recently, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) has been adding older citations to PubMed. Currently, these old citations go back to 1948. NLM plans to continue adding earlier years. Medical books and journal articles from the 1400s through 1950 can be searched using IndexCat, the index catalogue of the library of the Surgeon-general's office. | Indexes & Books |
