LALINC/CALL Information
LALINC (the Louisiana Academic Library Information Network Consortium) and CALL (the Council on Academic Libraries Liaison) are programs which allow LSUHSC patrons to borrow materials from other participating libraries. Participating libraries are divided into two groups: New Orleans area and Statewide.
For LSUHSC Patrons
To be eligible for a LALINC/CALL Card through the LSUHSC Libraries, a patron must be faculty, staff, or a graduate-level student in good standing. LALINC/CALL Cards are issued at the Circulation Desk and expire at least once a year. All LSUHSC patrons must abide by the rules of the lending Library. For non-LSUHSC Patrons
LSUHSC Libraries are pleased to extend borrowing privileges to patrons from LALINC/CALL participating libraries. These patrons may borrow a maximum of 5 items and must abide by the circulation periods of the LSUHSC Libraries. For more information, a pdf memb of rules is available.
