| Excavating E-Books | 1 hour long class which offers an overview to the growing electronic book collection owned by the Libraries. |
| General Library Class | 1.5 hour introductory class which provides an overview of the Library's resources and services. |
| Navigating E-Journals | 1 hour basic class on using and printing full-text electronic resources in the LSUHSC Libraries. |
| RefWorks | 1 hour basic class on using RefWorks, a web-based bibliography and database manager. |
| Showing Off Our Resources | 1 hour basic class provides an introduction to the plethora of electronic resources licensed by the LSUHSC Libraries. |

| Cited Reference Searching in Web of Science | 1 hour course on a systematic method for searching the Web of Science database. |
| Exploring EMBASE.com | 1 hour course which covers another aspect of the Biomedical and Pharmacological bibliographic literature. Go beyond PubMed. |
| Mining MICROMEDEX- the Basics | 1 hour basic to intermediate class which covers the various patient care centered databases included in MICROMEDEX. |

| The courses are designed by our librarians to meet the specific needs of LSUHSC faculty and students. These course are open only to the students within the courses for which they were designed. |

| BSN Nursing Research | 1 hour course taught to all BSN students in N4370 which focuses on research in nursing. |
| Communication Disorders | 2 hour course for all COMD students. |

| SPM 200 | Year long modular integrated set of courses taught to second year medical students in 1 hour blocks. |
