Library Instruction
Library classes are scheduled at various times throughout the year and by request. Contact your School Liaison for more information. General, subject specific, or resource specific courses are available.
We do house calls!
Let us come to you. We offer many choices for your faculty, staff and students, whether it's a custom presentation at your faculty meeting or a brief informational session during one of your classes. We can demonstrate online journals and textbooks, power up your PDA with medical resources, offer a refresher on PubMed and MEDLINE, or concentrate on specific databases like PsycINFO, Web of Science or Refworks. Contact your School Liaison to schedule library instruction at a time and place convenient & customized for you.
Classes are limited to faculty, students or staff directly affiliated with the
Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
