PubMed is the National Library of Medicine’s premiere search system for medical and health information. The class will cover the following:
Assist in finding search terms using the MeSH Database, a guide to MEDLINE’s controlled vocabulary.
Locate articles that report applied clinical research.
Use the Single Citation Matcher for verification of garbled book or journal citations.
Explain links to full-text articles and other NLM search systems, such as ClinicalTrials.gov, NIH Clinical Alerts and Advisories and PubMed Central.
