Activities

Campers spend the week seeing the sights and scenes of New Orleans. Camp organizers and counselors provide campers with opportunities for play and socializing during this week-long summer camp. Activities planned for Camp Tiger 2007 include:
  • Audubon Zoo
  • Aquarium of the Americas
  • Global Wildlife Center
  • Louisiana Children's Museum
  • New Orleans Saints Facility
  • Laser Tag
  • Abita Quail Farm
  • Kid Sports
  • City Park
  • Camp Tiger Field Day
Well-chaperoned charted buses will transport campers and conselors to each of these venues throughout the week. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Each year, organizers develop a new theme for Camp Tiger. Designing the camp around a particular theme helps to further immerse campers in the activities of the week, providing an escape from the ordinary. This year's theme is "Welcome to the Jungle." Building on the excitment generated in the area by the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers, this year's camp will celebrate teamwork and coming together to enrich our community.
