ACTIVITIES
Camp Tiger campers spend the week seeing the sights and scenes of New Orleans. Current plans for the campers are as follows (please note that these are tentative):
Monday: LSU Experience and Don Carter Lanes
Tuesday: Visit Louisiana Children’s Museum, Audubon Aquarium, and Audubon Insectarium
Wednesday: Visit Audubon Zoo and Mardi Gras World
Thursday: Visit Storyland at City Park and Kidsports
Friday: Carnival at Jesuit
Each year, organizers develop a new theme for Camp Tiger. Designing the camp around a particular theme helps to further immerse campers in the activities of the week, providing an escape from the ordinary. Building on local excitement and continuing the Camp Tiger legacy after 28 years, this year’s camp will focus on the positive energy Camp Tiger provides and our campers continued success as healthy, vibrant children!
Well-chaperoned buses will transport campers and counselors to each of these venues throughout the week. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
