About Us

The Louisiana State University Student Health Clinic offers a variety of health services. Physicians and Nurse Practitioners in the Student Health Clinic are board certified.

The Student Health Clinic Hours are from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; Friday Morning Appointments Only. Scheduled Urgent Walk-Ins Only. The last appointment of the day is at 3:30 pm. Appointments can be made with a Physician Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. by calling 412-1366. Many times, students can arrange same-day appointments. Appointments at other hours can be made by special arrangement through the Student Health Clinics (412-1366) or 412-1705. The clinics are located at: 3700 St. Charles Avenue, 2nd Floor; 200 West Esplanade Avenue, #205 (By Appointments Only).

For most routine care, appointments are suggested, however, students with urgent care needs may be seen on a walk-in basis. Students with emergency care needs you should probably go directly to an emergency room as the student health clinic is not equipped to provide emergency care.
