Louisiana Transfer Degree
Purpose
The Louisiana
Transfer Associate Degree was developed in 2009 to
ensure that students completing the 60 hour AA/LT
(Associate of Arts) or AS/LT (Associate of Science)
can transfer from any state community college to any
of the state’s four year universities without losing
credit.
|
 |
By completing specific
elective courses within the AS/LT curriculum at a two-year
institution, students may meet the admission requirements for
undergraduate programs offered at LSUHSC. Admission to
these programs is competitive, and earning an AS/LT degree does
not guarantee admission.
Programs
Prerequisite course requirements for admission to the
following undergraduate programs may be met by earning
an AS/LT degree. The specific requirements vary by
program, and interested applicants should consult the
individual program websites for specific admission
criteria.
Clinical Laboratory Science (B.S.)
Cardiopulmonary Science (B.S.)
Dental Hygiene (B.S.)
Nursing (B.S.N.)
