Processing Reports - Output type E-MAIL

nVision Reports may also be emailed directly to other PeopleSoft users. The report request is used to define the user to whom the report will be sent.

Click the Type list to change the output to E-mail.

In the nVision email output page, enter the recipient’s email in the Email Template box. Multiple user email addresses should be entered and separated by a comma (e.g. mgonza@lsuhsc.edu, vstasi@lsuhsc.edu).


Press Refresh every 15 seconds until the distribution status is posted.


Click the Excel Icon to open the attached file and review the report.

You may receive a message if the report is from not from a trusted source.


The system generates and sends an email to the listed email account with the report attached.


The email sent from user will be a PS9FSRPT@lsuhsc.edu

Once the report is open, you may perform any drill or Excel function as desired.

Click the Email list item.
Click the Scope and Delivery Templates link.
Enter the desired information into the Email Template field. Enter
a valid value
e.g.
"twash3@lsuhsc.edu"

Click the OK button.
Click the Run Current Report Request button.
Click the OK button.
Click the Process Monitor link.
Click the Refresh button.
Double-click the desired object.
Click the Open button.
