The LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Section of Endocrinology seeks a full time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). The LSU Health Sciences Center, located in New Orleans, is the home of six professional schools and several Centers of Excellence. The LSUHSC School of Medicine has several clinical partners in the New Orleans area, most notably LCMC Health which manages the University Medical Center, a $1.2 billion state-of-the-art facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join our evolving practice.

Responsibilities of this position include patient care including inpatient wards, consult service and outpatient clinic; instruction of medical students, house staff, including Endocrine Fellows, and research. Opportunities for leadership roles within the Section of Endocrinology are available.

  • M.D.
  • ABIM board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/board eligible in endocrinology and have an interest in education and in clinically relevant research
  • License to practice medicine in Louisiana by start date
