The cost of any third-party services, such as MCAs, provided are built into LSUHSC start-up costs.
The appropriate CTO is responsible for negotiating the contract and budget. The Study Team should provide the CTO with the appropriate Sponsor contact via introduction over email.
If the trial is taking place on the Ochsner campus, please send the study documents
to the Ochsner research office. Their office will coordinate directly with the LSUHSC
CTO.
If the trial is taking place to UMC, please send the study documents to the LSU Health
CTO that you are working with. We will coordinate directly with UMC.
The CTOs will be happy to work with a study team on a case-by-case basis for clinical
trials funded by NIH grants; however, the initial application and routing process
will not change for these clinical trials.
