- Volunteer your time to set-up, organize or host during the event and your organization gives you free conference admission.
- Present at the conference for a break-out session and your organization gives you free conference admission and travel.
- Complete a scholarship opportunity and you could be selected for free conference admission and travel.

- Toastmasters is a professional development organization that specializes in increasing presentation, leadership, project management and other skills to use in your career.
- Meets at the LSU Health downtown campus on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month 11:30am - 12:30pm in RCB 7th Floor Conference Room

- TED is an international organization that sponsors conferences across the globe on amazing ideas from amazing people.
- All talks are a maximum of 18 minutes long and truly inspire you on everything.

Diversity & Inclusion Bookclub
- This club meets at LSU Health downtown campus approximately every other month in the MEB coffee shop. The club reads a professional development book and discusses the findings, impacts and issues raised with other club members.

- NACUBO is a professional organization that provides a journal, professional development online webinars and conferences to members. The organization is dedicated to all higher education groups such as researchers, postdocs, students, unclassified staff, faculty and business managers.
