- An amendment to the original contract with the architect/engineer for the design of the expedited environmental remediation of the 1st floors of the MEB, Lions Eye Center and CSRB has been completed.
- Emergency and regular building power has been found to be unavailable in selected areas of the MEB. The cause has been determined to be related to the permanent switchgear repairs and is awaiting the receipt of parts to complete the repairs.
- The bids for repair/replacement of fire pump system components in the Nursing/Allied Health, Residence Hall, Resource Ctr, CSRB, Lions Eye, and MEB have been received and evaluated. The award recommendations have been forwarded to the Office of Facility Planning & Control and FEMA for their review prior to award.
- The award of sole source contracts for the permanent repairs of fire alarm systems in Stanislaus Hall, MEB and the CSRB has been recommended to the Office of Facility Planning & Control and FEMA. These contracts are intended to be awarded to the companies currently responsible for the ongoing maintenance of these systems.
