NOTICE:  On Friday, January 16th, there will be service outages in the Medical Education Building from 6:00 PM until midnight.  There will be no domestic hot or cold water on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors of the MEB, and no de-ionized water in the entire building.

During the outage, there will be no water at any faucet, toilet or urinal on the MEB 4th, 5th and 6th floors and we ask that these services not be used.  Also, there will be no de-ionized water at any service location in the MEB.  We ask that the valves remain closed on this system during this outage to avoid damage upon re-energizing the equipment.

Construction progress in the MDL 6 and on the 5th and 6th floors necessitates these outages.

NOTICE:  There will be a partial building power outage at the Lions/LSU Clinics Building on Saturday, January 17th, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  This outage will affect receptacles and lighting on the west half ( S. Prieur Street side) of the building.  During the outage there will be emergency power to maintain emergency lights and service to some specific equipment in the building – these items are plugged into red receptacles.  The regular receptacles and lights will be off in sections of the S. Prieur Street side of the building as the electrical riser is shut down for this work.

Please note that only the equipment already plugged into the red receptacles should be plugged into them.  Plugging in additional pieces of equipment will cause all equipment to fail if circuits are overloaded.

Air conditioning, exhaust, and pumping will not be affected, as their power source will not be shut down.
