NOTICE:  On Saturday, April 4th, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM there will be a de-ionized water outage in the Clinical Sciences Research Building .  This outage is needed to repair the system.  During the outage, please do not attempt to use any DI water.

 

1542 TULANE AVE. :

  • The general contractor continued hanging drywall in Rooms 341, 342, and 343 and painting the 2nd Floor lounge.
  • The mechanical contractor continued installing the new fan coil unit in Room 345A.
  • The electrical sub-contractor continued wiring fan coil units on the 3rd Floor.
  • The roll-up door contractor continued installation of the new parking garage roll-up door.
  • Facility Services continued painting and completing electrical repairs on the 1st and 3rd Floors.

 

LIONS/LSU CLINIC PERMANENT REPAIRS AND MITIGATION:

  • The contractor installed VCT in the 6th Floor elevator lobby, adjacent storage room and housekeeping closet. 
  • The contractor installed windows on the 5th Floor of the exterior stairwell.
  • The contractor installed granite panels on the 6th Floor of the exterior stairwell.
  • The contractor installed the 1st layer of stucco under the canopy of the exterior stairwell.
  • The contractor installed trim at the header of marker boards in Rooms 671,673, 675, 676,677, 678, 681, 682, and 683.
  • The contractor installed the 1st coat of waterproofing in the freight elevator pit.

 

LIBRARY COMMONS:

  • The contractor started cleaning the area. 

 

MEB 2nd FLOOR LOBBY RENOVATIONS:

  • The contractor sanded the storefront walls. 

 

MEB PHARMACOLOGY LAB RENOVATIONS:

  • The casework contractor continued installing the peninsular casework in Room 5219 and replaced two of the four fume hoods.
  • The contractor installed three door frames in the administrative area.

 

RESIDENCE HALL LOBBY EXPANSION: 

  • The interior contractor installed sheetrock, taped and floated the fur down in the mezzanine level between the B & C Towers .

 

ALLIED HEALTH/NURSING RE-ROOFING:

  • The contractor removed another 30 ft section of the roof parallel to Bolivar Street and applied the two-ply roof. 

 

DENTAL SCHOOL AUDITORIUMS A & B RENOVATIONS:

  • The electrical contractor continued installing additional overhead conduit for the podium, speaker, and projector connections in Auditorium B, extending the conduit into the lobby area.
