Action Step 2
Review the employee's Self-Assessment of his/her performance over the year.
Review employee comments on how s/he demonstrated through his/her performance the Institutional Competencies over the last year. Also note status of Goals and progress with Development Plan.
Review the immediate supervisor's ratings and comments for Institutional Competencies, Individual Goals and Development Plan.

There are five (5) Actions Steps associated with Second Level Supervisor Approval. The steps are outlined in the blue box.
Action Step 1
The Overall Rating is tabulated by the system based on the ratings given by the immediate supervisor for Institutional Competencies. The Overall Rating displays one of the four (4) rating, Highly Effective, Consistently Effective, Needs Development, or Not Effective, on the right side of the panel.
Write comments to support or disagree with the rating.
If you disagree with the rating, select the Return button.
If you agree with the rating, select the Approve button.
The Overview page shows that Step 5: Second Level Supervisor Approval is complete and Step 6: Supervisor acknowledges evaluation review meeting has taken place is In Process.
This completes Second Level Supervisor Approval.
