A post-doctoral fellow position to study CARDIO and NEUROVASCULAR biology with special emphasis on transcriptional and epigenetic regulation is available. The Park lab, in the Department of Molecular & Cellular Physiology, has a major interest in molecular mechanisms in regulating vessel development and vascular regeneration/tissue repair in pathophysiological conditions.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. and be a driven individual able to work independently. Applicants should also have a strong record of research productivity and have experience in cell culture and molecular techniques, as well as mouse genetics.

Recently, we have identified a novel endothelial gene regulating both angiogenesis and immunity and published the findings in Science Translational Medicine.
