The Department of Pediatrics at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport is seeking full-time BC/BE Pediatrician. Primary responsibilities include a Pediatric practice with patient care, resident and medical student education. Protected time is available to pursue clinical and/or laboratory research interests. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Children’s Hospital at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Ochsner LSU Health St. Mary is the only major academic medical center in the area and receives patients from a catchment area with a radius of approximately 75-100 miles, which includes a population of approximately 1½ million people. The Pediatric Department is a large academic multispecialty department with active clinical and basic research programs.
