The candidate will be responsible for Gu/Bone Soft Tissue pathology cases, Hematology, GI pathology cases and other anatomic pathology services including, but not limited to, cytopathology. From time to time, the Chair of pathology may request that you perform other anatomic and clinical pathology duties you are qualified to do.
Must be board certified in Gu/Bone Soft Tissue and qualify for an active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license. Duties involve diagnostic service, teaching pathology residents and medical students and academic activity) eg. Research. The successful candidate will support and incorporate advanced diagnostic techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and will have service and teaching responsibilities.
