The Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology & Neuroscience at LSU Health Shreveport invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
Under the leadership of the new chair, Dr. Jiliang Zhou, the department has entered a rapid phase of growth. Our faculty engage in cutting-edge research across a broad spectrum of topics, including, but not limited to, neuropharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology, neuroscience, toxicology, drug addiction, drug discovery for neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders, cancer, and space medicine.
Successful candidates will be expected to establish independent, extramurally funded research programs. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong record and demonstrated interest in pharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology/biology, neuroscience, toxicology, or addiction science/biology.
