Incumbent will maintain a customer-oriented awareness in acknowledging and responding to needs as they occur that customer satisfaction is met at all times.
Teaching, scholarship, service and student advising. We offer a unique environment that affords faculty members the opportunity to teach in their area of expertise and practice and conduct research on-site in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation clinic which encompasses 20,000 square feet on the ground floor of the School of Health Professions and Sciences. Additional inpatient practice and research opportunities exist in the adjacent level-1 trauma center at Ochsner-LSU Health Shreveport. Candidates should be comfortable working with other faculty members in the program, school, and institution as well as with students in the entry-level DPT program. Additional opportunities exist to teach and/or serve as a mentor in the PhD Program for Rehabilitation Sciences or in one of our three accredited residency programs, depending on area of clinical expertise. We are part of an academic medical center with collaborative opportunities across schools and multiple clinical and scientific disciplines.
