The Department of Cellular Biology and Anatomy at LSU Health Shreveport, School of Medicine, is seeking a dedicated and student-centered educator to join our faculty as a full-time Instructor or Assistant Professor of Anatomy (non-tenure track). This is a 12-month faculty appointment beginning January 2, 2026.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in the delivery of anatomical sciences across multiple academic programs, including the MD curriculum, School of Health Professions and Sciences (Allied Health), and graduate-level health professions education. Areas of teaching responsibility will include gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, histology, and embryology, in both lecture and cadaver-based laboratory settings.
Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and academic credentials, in accordance with LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Board of Supervisors policies.
