The Department of Radiology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport is seeking a full-time BC/BE Body Radiologist. The primary responsibilities include patient care, resident education, and medical student education. Protected time is available to pursue clinical and/or laboratory research interests. Body imaging section includes Abdomen, Chest and Ultrasound. Nuclear Medicine experience is not required but preferred. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Through our partnership with Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Ochsner LSU Health St. Mary, we provide the only major academic medical center in the area and receive patients from a catchment area with a radius of approximately 75-100 miles which includes a population of approximately 1½ million people. The Radiology Department is a large academic multispecialty Department with active clinical and basic research programs.

Regular attendance is required to perform the functions of this position. The work hours are generally Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
