Position Details
This position will work in a classroom and/or clinical (bedside) teaching capacity with undergraduate cardiopulmonary science and cardiovascular technology students. This person is to function as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Cardiopulmonary Science as directed by the Department Chair and/or Program Director or his/her designee. The incumbent will contribute to the academic development of any and all students within the Dept. of Cardiopulmonary Science. Primary responsibilities include teaching didactic courses, student labs, and developing innovative lecture/lab material. This position also includes the guidance of CPS/CVT/RT program students, collaborating with clinical affiliates, participating in program accreditation, developing assessments, engaging in program/School recruitment activities, participating in faculty development and professional development, and engaging in scholarly activity. Regular attendance is required to perform the functions of this position.
Applicant must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in science, or a related healthcare field with at least five (5) years of professional post-graduate experience in a professional, clinical setting.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Credentialed in cardiovascular care.
- Experienced echocardiography professional with participation in invasive cardiovascular patient care.
- Experienced invasive cardiovascular care professional with participation in non-invasive cardiovascular patient care.
- Three (3) or more years of experience teaching in an accredited clinical program.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
