How to set an account to be an administrator in Windows 8.

  1. Logged in as an administrator account, swipe right and open settings

  3. Click Accounts.

  5. Select the account to be set as administrator.

  7. Click Edit.

  9. Pull down account type and change to administrator. Click OK.

  11. You will have to log out and log back in for this change to take effect.
