Original Post, April 23, 2026:

Research poster printing at the Isché/Downtown Library is currently unavailable.

The poster printer has been taken out of service due to emergency maintenance. On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, posters were no longer printed with accurate colors, and one of the belts had started to come apart. A technician identified a handful of issues, necessitating the printer be taken out of service.

Replacements parts will need to be ordered, and we do not have an estimate of when the printer will be back in service at this time.

The Library's poster printing service has gained popularity over the past few years with 534 posters printed in 2023, 693 in 2024, and 844 in 2025. Before the printer was taken out of service, we had tallied 423 posters printed for 2026, with 234 in April alone.

We will update as we have more information on when the printer will be back in service.
