Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance

Keith Schroth serves as the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance at LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans.

In this role, he works directly with the Chancellor serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. Mr. Schroth oversees all operational aspects of the campus directing Accounting Services, Auxiliary Enterprises, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, and Contract Management. Additionally, he spearheads our Mission-Based Budgeting, Faculty Productivity Model, and Managed Care Incentive Payment Program (MCIP).

Mr. Schroth’s vision is to continue to enhance our financial performance through innovative business improvements driving overhead and operational efficiencies, developing strategic value-added relationships, and creating an environment that promoted trust, respect, and teamwork.

His mission is to create innovative and accountable administrative support services and systems that strengthen institutional operations, enrich the organization and enhance the student experience.

Mr. Schroth received his undergraduate degree and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Orleans. He began his Fiscal career with Getty Oil Company in 1978 and became the Southeast Regional Fiscal Manager for Texaco USA in 1998 before joining LSU Health Sciences Center-NO as Associate Dean of Fiscal Affairs for the School of Medicine in 2003.
