In response to student questions regarding available spaces for quiet and group study, this Study Spaces Guide highlights areas throughout the campuses and outlines hours of availability. Out of safety concerns, especially at night and on weekends, it is recommended that you choose areas on primary security patrolling paths.
Classrooms that are on the scheduling system are prioritized for those users; however, during off-hours, these rooms may be used to accommodate study activities. Students can reserve a space on the reservation system for a four-hour block up to a month in advance. If faculty require the space for a class or other event, student reservations may be cancelled. Faculty can reserve spaces up to a year in advance for individual meetings, events, classes, or conferences. Rooms may not be blocked out for unspecified events.
Large auditoriums and classrooms may have lighting and air conditioning turned off during off-hours to reduce energy consumption. These rooms may not be appropriate for individual or small group study.
Food will be allowed only in select areas to support maintenance and pest control. Please see notes for individual rooms.
